Waist Size
The waist measurement is the most important of all, because standard label sizes do not reflect actual waist sizes. And because standard sizes vary from one manufacturer to another For example, when a pair of slacks is marked 34, it’s really closer to 36 inches at the waist! You must (and I’ll repeat) you must take the tape and actually measure your slacks waist or your skin waist to get the real waist measurement we can use.

Measure your ready-to-wear slack waist and indicate the inches in the box. Finished Waist Measurement*

Pull your slacks outward and measure as shown. Multiply by 2 to get your waist measurement.
